Gmina Gorzyce is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Wodzisà Âaw County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland, on the Czech border. Its seat is the village of Gorzyce, which lies approximately south-west of Wodzisà Âaw à Âlàski and south-west of the regional capital Katowice. It is close to where the A1 motorway crosses the border into the Czech Republic to/from Poland
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019, its total population was 21,285.
Gmina Gorzyce is bordered by the town of Wodzisà Âaw à Âlàski and by the gminas of Godów, Krzyà ¼anowice and Lubomia. It also borders the Czech Republic.
