Gmina Gidle is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Radomsko County, à Âódà º Voivodeship, in central Poland. Its seat is the village of Gidle, which lies approximately south of Radomsko and south of the regional capital à Âódà º. It covers an area of and in 2006 had 6,610 residents.
During the German invasion of Poland in 1939, Wehrmacht soldiers murdered and burned 72 civilians of all ages and genders from the villages in the region.
The following villages have the status of soà Âectwo: Borowa, CiÃÂà ¼kowice, Chrostowa, Gidle, Gowarzów, Górka, Graby, Kajetanowice, Kotfin, Ludwików, Michaà Âopol, Piaski, Pà Âawno, Ruda, Stanisà Âawice, StÃÂszów, Wà Âynice, Wojnowice, Wygoda, Zabrodzie and Zagórze.
There are also eleven villages without soà Âectwo status: Mà Âynek, Huby Kotfià Âskie, Niesulów, Skrzypiec, Borki, Spalastry, Górki-Kolonia, Lasek-Kolonia, Zielonka, Strzaà Âa, Ojrzeà Â.
Gmina Gidle is bordered by the gminas of Dàbrowa Zielona, Kà Âomnice, Kobiele Wielkie, Kruszyna, Radomsko and à »ytno.
