Gmina Frysztak is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Strzyà ¼Ã³w County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Frysztak, which lies approximately south-west of Strzyà ¼Ã³w and south-west of the regional capital Rzeszów.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 10,635.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Czarnorzeki-Strzyà ¼Ã³w Landscape Park.
Gmina Frysztak contains the villages and settlements of Chytrówka, Cieszyna, Frysztak, Glinik Dolny, Glinik Górny, Glinik à Âredni, Gogoà Âów, Huta Gogoà Âowska, Kobyle, Lubla, Puà Âanki, StÃÂpina, Twierdza and Widacz.
Gmina Frysztak is bordered by the gminas of Brzostek, Jasà Âo, Koà Âaczyce, Wielopole Skrzyà Âskie, Wià Âniowa and Wojaszówka.
