Gmina Drohiczyn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. Its seat is the town of Drohiczyn, which lies approximately west of Siemiatycze and south-west of the regional capital Biaà Âystok.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 6,815 (out of which the population of Drohiczyn amounts to 2,086, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 4,729).
Apart from the town of Drohiczyn, Gmina Drohiczyn contains the villages and settlements of Arbasy Duà ¼e, Arbasy Maà Âe, Bryki, Bujaki, Buà ¼yski, Chechà Âowo, Chroà Âowice, Chutkowice, Klepacze, Kà Âyzówka, Koczery, Lisowo, Lisowo-Janówek, à Âopusze, Milewo, Mià Âkowice-Janki, Mià Âkowice-MaÃÂki, Mià Âkowice-Paszki, Mià Âkowice-Stawki, Minczewo, Narojki, Obnià ¼e, Ostroà ¼any, Przesieka, Putkowice Nagórne, Rotki, Runice, Sady, Siekierki, Sieniewice, Skierwiny, à Âledzianów, Smarklice, Smorczewo, Sytki, Tonkiele, Wierzchuca Nadbuà ¼na, Wierzchuca Nagórna, Wólka Zamkowa and ZajÃÂczniki.
Gmina Drohiczyn is bordered by the gminas of Grodzisk, Jabà Âonna Lacka, Korczew, Perlejewo, Platerów, Repki and Siemiatycze.
