Gmina Dobczyce is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Myà Âlenice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Dobczyce, which lies approximately north-east of Myà Âlenice and south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 13,941 (out of which the population of Dobczyce amounts to 6,028, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 7,913).
Apart from the town of Dobczyce, Gmina Dobczyce contains the villages and settlements of Bieà Âkowice, Brzàczowice, Brzezowa, Dziekanowice, KÃÂdzierzynka, Kornatka, Niezdów, Nowa Wieà Â, Rudnik, Sieraków, Skrzynka, Stadniki and Stojowice.
Gmina Dobczyce is bordered by the gminas of Gdów, Myà Âlenice, Raciechowice, Siepraw, Wieliczka and Wià Âniowa.
