Gmina Burzenin is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Sieradz County, à Âódà º Voivodeship, in central Poland. Its seat is the village of Burzenin, which lies approximately south of Sieradz and south-west of the regional capital à Âódà º.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 5,665.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Warta-Widawka Landscape Park.
Gmina Burzenin contains the villages and settlements of Antonin, BÃÂdków, Biadaczew, Brzeà ºnica, Burzenin, Dziaà Ây, Grabówka, Gronów, Jarocice, Kamilew, Kamionka, Kolonia Niechmirów, Kopanina, KrÃÂpica, Ligota, Majaczewice, Marianów, Niechmirów, Nieczuj, Praà ¼mów, Redzeà  Drugi, Redzeà  Pierwszy, RÃÂszew, Rokitowiec, Sambórz, Strumiany, Strzaà Âki, à Âwierki, Szczawno, Tyczyn, Waszkowskie, Witów, Wola BÃÂdkowska, Wola Majacka, Wolnica Grabowska and Wolnica Niechmirowska.
Gmina Burzenin is bordered by the gminas of Brzeà ºnio, Konopnica, Sieradz, Widawa, Zapolice and Zà Âoczew.
