Gmina Bukowiec is a rural gmina (administrative district) in à Âwiecie County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Bukowiec, which lies approximately west of à Âwiecie and north-east of Bydgoszcz.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 5,122.
Gmina Bukowiec contains the villages and settlements of Bramka, Branica, Budyà Â, Bukowiec, Franciszkowo, Gawroniec, JarzÃÂbieniec, KawÃÂcin, Korytowo, Krupocin, Plewno, Poledno, Polskie à Âàki, Przysiersk, RÃ³à ¼anna and Tuszynki.
Gmina Bukowiec is bordered by the gminas of Drzycim, Lniano, Pruszcz, à Âwiecie and à Âwiekatowo.
