Gluconacetobacter azotocaptans is a species of acetic acid bacteria first isolated from rhizospheres and rhizoplanes of coffee plants. Its type strain is CFN-Ca54<sup>T</sup> (= ATCC 70098S<sup>T</sup> = DSM 13594<sup>T</sup>).
