Garbeta railway station is a railway station on KharagpurâÂÂBankuraâÂÂAdra line in Adra railway division of South Eastern Railway zone. It is situated at Bandhgora, Garbeta of Paschim Medinipur district in the Indian state of West Bengal. A total of 23 passenger and express trains stop at Garbeta railway station.
In 1901, the KharagpurâÂÂMidnapur Branch line was opened. The MidnaporeâÂÂJharia extension of the Bengal Nagpur Railway, passing through Bankura District was opened in 1903âÂÂ04. The AdraâÂÂBheduasol sector was electrified in 1997âÂÂ98 and the BheduasolâÂÂSalboni sector in 1998âÂÂ99.
