GaoàXin (; born 11àDecemberà1976) is a Chinese television and film actor. He gained national attention as LuàErhao in the ChiungàYao drama Romance in the Rain (2001), winning the Golden Bell Award for Best Newcomer. Subsequent highâÂÂprofile turns include Crown PrinceàXiaoàJingxuan in Nirvana in Fire (2015) and the controversial elder brother SuàMingzhe in the family hit AllàIsàWell (2019). Gao was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 25th Shanghai Television Festival for the latter role. Inà2022, he headlined the ruralâÂÂrevitalization series SpringàBreezeàGreenàJiangnan as county secretaryàYanàDonglei.
Gao was born in Beijing inÃÂ 1976 and graduated from the Acting Department of the Beijing Film Academy inÃÂ 1998.
Gao made his screen debut in the childrenâÂÂs series SanmaoàWanderings (1996) and appeared in the romance film TenâÂÂDayàLove (1997). Early supporting parts culminated in his casting by novelistâÂÂproducer ChiungàYao for Romance in the Rain.
