Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Fez

The Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Fez (; FSJESF) is a Moroccan public institution of higher education. Established in 1975, it is one of the founding and largest faculties of the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez.

Academic structure

The faculty provides education in three main disciplines under the LMD (Licence, Master, Doctorate) framework:

  • Law: Including specialized tracks in Public Law and Private Law (in both Arabic and French).
  • Economics: Focused on macroeconomics, international trade, and development.
  • Management: Covering audit, finance, and human resources.

Research and conferences

FSJES Fez is a major center for legal and managerial research in Morocco. It regularly hosts high-level scientific gatherings:

  • International Colloquium on the Management of Organizations and Territories (CIMOT): The faculty organizes this international forum to discuss modern governance and territorial development.
  • Business Law and CSR: The institution hosts symposiums exploring the interactions between corporate law and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
  • Mediterranean Forums: The faculty contributes to regional dialogues on socio-economic development in the Mediterranean basin.

Social innovation

The institution participates in social entrepreneurship and innovation projects, such as the "Projet Valise" in collaboration with the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation, aimed at supporting social initiatives and community development.
