Exohedral fullerene

Exohedral fullerenes, also called exofullerenes, are fullerenes that have additional atoms, ions, or clusters attached their outer spheres, such as C<sub>50</sub>Cl<sub>10</sub> and C<sub>60</sub>H<sub>8</sub>. or fullerene ligands.
