Elmar Bakhshiyev (; born 3 August 1980) is an Azerbaijani football manager and former midfielder of Lezgin origin.
On 19 January 2012 Bakhshiev signed an initial one-year contract with Gabala. On 25 March 2014. Bakhshiev announced that he would be retiring at the end of the 2013âÂÂ14 season.
On 2 September 2019, Bakhshiyev was appointed as acting Head Coach of Gabala after Sanan Gurbanov resigned. On 12 June 2023, Bakhshiyev extended his contract as Head Coach of Gabala until the summer of 2025.
On 24 February 2024, Bakhshiyev resigned as Head Coach of Gabala following a 2âÂÂ1 defeat to Kapaz the previous day that left Gabala eight points a drift at the bottom of the league.
On 29 May 2024, Bakhshiyev was announced as the Head Coach of Araz-Naxçñvan for the 2024âÂÂ25 season.
