Elevci (, ) is a village in the municipality of Centar à ½upa, North Macedonia.
According to Ottoman tahrir defters from the 1520s, 16 villages (all present-day Centar à ½upa villages) associated with Kala-i Kodà ¾adà ¾ik had no Muslim population. However, the Muslim population increased in subsequent years. This was likely part of the Islamization of Macedonia under Turkish rule.
The village is inhabited by a Turkish speaking population consisting of Torbeà ¡i. According to the statistics of Jovan Hadà ¾i-Vasiljevià"Muslims of Our Blood in Southern Serbia" (Muslimani naà ¡e krvi u Juà ¾noj Srbiji. Beograd 1924) from 1924, the Muslim inhabitants of the village of Elevci were Torbeà ¡i linguistically and culturally Turkified. In a survey conducted on immigrants from Elevci and Kodà ¾adà ¾ik villages of Saruhanlñ district of Manisa Province of Turkey, it confirmed that Elevci and Kodà ¾adà ¾ik villages are Torbeà ¡i villages.
According to the 1942 Albanian census, Gorno Elevci was inhabited by 596 Muslim Albanians and 45 Bulgarians.
