Edwin Alberto Pérez León (born 28 September 1974 in Ica, Peru) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. He currently plays for Sport ÃÂncash in the Peruvian Segunda División.
Pérez has played for Alcides Vigo, FBC Melgar, and Cienciano. In January 2005 he transferred to Universidad San MartÃÂn de Porres. There he won back to back National Championships in the 2007 and 2008 season.
In 2009, he transferred to Sporting Cristal.
Pérez has played for the Peru national football team in the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds.
