Echinorhynchida, from Ancient Greek á¼ÂÃÂá¿Âýÿà(ekhînos), meaning "hedgehog", and á¿¥ÃÂóÃÂÿà(rhúnkhos), meaning "snout", is an order of parasitic worms in the phylum Acanthocephala. It contains 13 known families:
