ÃÂức Hòa was a rural district (huyá»Ân) of Long An province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 199,181. The district covers an area of . The district capital lies at HáºÂu Nghéa.
The district is subdivided into 20 commune-level subdivisions, including the townships of: HáºÂu Nghéa, ÃÂức Hòa and Hiá»Âp Hòa, and the rural communes of: Lá»Âc Giang, An Ninh ÃÂông, An Ninh Tây, Tân Mỹ, Hiá»Âp Hòa, Tân Phú, HoàKhánh Tây, HoàKhánh ÃÂông, HoàKhánh Nam, ÃÂức LáºÂp Thðợng, ÃÂức LáºÂp Hạ, ÃÂức HoàThðợng, ÃÂức HoàÃÂông, ÃÂức HoàHạ, Mỹ Hạnh Bắc, Mỹ Hạnh Nam and Há»±u Thạnh.
