Dragodana is a commune in DâmboviÃÂa County, Muntenia, Romania with a population of 6,186 people as of 2021. It is composed of seven villages: Boboci, Burduca, Cuparu, Dragodana, PÃÂdureni, Picior de Munte, and StrÃÂoÃÂti.
Situated in the central part of the Wallachian Plain, the commune lies on the banks of the river Sabar and is located in the central-south part of DâmboviÃÂa County. Dragodana is crossed by national road , which runs from the town of GÃÂeÃÂti, to the west, to the county seat, TârgoviÃÂte, to the north, and on to PloieÃÂti. The country's capital, Bucharest, is to the southeast and can be reached via DN7.
