In the Ainu language, the katakana ã can be written with a handakuten (which can be entered in a computer as either one character (ãÂÂãÂÂ) or two combined characters (ãÂÂãÂÂ) to represent the sound , and is interchangeable with the katakana ãÂÂãÂÂ.
