Diphu Government College, established in the year 1964, is a general degree college situated at Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam. This college is affiliated with the Assam University. The college offers different courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science.
The motto of the college âÂÂAno Bhadrah Kratavyo Yantu Vishwatahâ is a Sanskrit verse taken from the Rig Veda. The meaning of the verse/motto is âÂÂLet noble thoughts come to us from every sideâÂÂ. The Motto was adopted by Prof. Udai Bhanu Pandey, former Principal of the college.
