Deng Shirú (Teng Shih-ju, traditional: é§ç³å¦Â, simplified: éÂÂç³å¦Â; c. 1739/1743âÂÂ1805) was a Chinese calligrapher during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
Deng was born in Huaining æÂ·å¯§ in the Anhui å®Âå¾½ province. His style name was 'Wanbo' 顽伯 and his sobriquets were 'Wanbai shanren çÂÂç½山人, Wan bai å®Âç½, Guhuan, Gu wanzi æÂ æµ£åÂÂ, Youji daoren 游ç¬ÂéÂÂ人, Fengshui yuzhang 鳳水æ¼Âé·, and Longshan qiaozhang é¾Â山樵é·'. Deng studied at the Shen Chun Academy. He later learned the art of Seal cutting.
