Batoà(, <small>Hungarian pronunciation</small>: ; ) is a commune in MureàCounty, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of four villages: BatoÃÂ, Dedrad (Dedrád; Zepling), Goreni (Dedrádszéplak; Ungarisch Zepling), and Uila (Vajola; Weilau).
The commune is situated on the Transylvanian Plateau, at an altitude of . It is located in the northern part of MureàCounty, from Reghin and from the county seat, Târgu MureÃÂ, on the border with BistriÃÂa-NÃÂsÃÂud County.
At the 2021 census, the commune had a population of 3,876, of which 72.08% were Romanians, 14.09% Hungarians, 7.51% Roma, and 1.21% Germans.
