Countdown to Armageddon is a 1966 Canadian stage play by James Clavell, who is better known as a screenwriter and novelist. It premiered in Vancouver, where Clavell was then living.
The conflict between a scientist and an army officer in the Bering Straits.
The play was originally entitled E=MC 2. He wrote it four years prior to production.
The Vancouver Sun criticised the play's "sense of monotony."
