Khajuraho Airport is a domestic airport that serves the cities of Khajuraho and Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, India. The airport is 3 km south of Khajuraho, 4 km from Khajuraho railway station, 40 km from Chhatarpur and 50 km from Panna. It covers an area of 590 acres.
The airport opened in 1978, facilitating tourism to the nearby UNESCO world heritage site temple complex.
In August 2013, the central government announced that the Khajuraho Airport would receive a new terminal. Built at a cost of about , the building was inaugurated on 23 January 2016 with officials from the state and union governments in attendance.
The airport has one asphalt runway, 01/19, with dimensions , one passenger terminal with two aerobridges and an apron capable of parking four ATR-72 type aircraft and three Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 type aircraft.
