Chiuza () is a commune in BistriÃÂa-NÃÂsÃÂud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Chiuza, Mireà(Diófás), Piatra (Kà Âfarka), and SÃÂsarm (Szészárma).
The commune is situated on the Transylvanian Plateau, at an altitude of , on the banks of the SomeÃÂul Mare River.
According to statistics from 1760âÂÂ1762, Piatra village had 58 families, three priests, and a church. At the 2021 census, Chiuza commune had a population of 2,067; of those, 93.95% were Romanians and 1.06% Roma.
