Chhatna railway station is a railway station on KharagpurâÂÂBankuraâÂÂAdra line in Adra railway division of South Eastern Railway zone. It is situated at Chhatna of Bankura district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Total 32 local and passengers train stop at Chhatna railway station.
In 1901, the KharagpurâÂÂMidnapur Branch line was opened. The MidnaporeâÂÂJharia extension of the Bengal Nagpur Railway, passing through Bankura District was opened in 1903âÂÂ04. The AdraâÂÂBheduasol sector was electrified in 1997âÂÂ98 and the BheduasolâÂÂSalboni sector in 1998âÂÂ99.
