Cheia is a mountain resort, north of PloieÃÂti in Prahova County, Romania. Situated in the Teleajen Valley, it is surrounded by the CiucaÃÂ Mountains. Administratively, Cheia is a village, part of MÃÂneciu commune. Cheia Monastery is located to the southeast of the town.
