"Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" is a 1976 British television movie that aired as part of Laurence Olivier Presents and was based on the play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams. It was produced in England for Granada Television in association with NBC.
The Courier Journal called it a "much earthier version" of the play than the 1958 film. The Los Angeles Times called it "a stunning production". "Class television all the way," wrote The Baltimore Sun.
