The captopril suppression test (CST) is a non-invasive medical test that measures plasma levels of aldosterone. Aldosterone production is suppressed by captopril through the reninâÂÂangiotensinâÂÂaldosterone system. CST results are used to assist in the diagnososis of primary aldosteronism (Conn syndrome).
