Cái Nðá»Âc is a former rural district of CàMau province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the district had a population of 136,638. The district capital lies at Cái Nðá»Âc.
The district was abolished in 2025 after the Plan to arrange and merge administrative units in Vietnam, and was replaced by 4 communes: Luong The Tran, Tan Hung, Cai Nuoc and Hung My.
Cái Nðá»Âc is bordered by ÃÂầm Dái district to the east, NÃÂm CÃÂn district to the south, CàMau City to the north, Trần VÃÂn Thá»Âi district to the northwest and Phú Tân district to the west.
Cái Nðá»Âc has gardens famous for their birdlife. Like other areas on the CàMau peninsula, the terrain is that of a floodplain, and as such, the main industry is marine-based. The dominant industry in the area is prawn and blue crab farming.
The district was split in 2004 to form a new district of CÃÂ Mau province. It previously covered an area of but today covers .
On May 17, 1984, when it was still part of Minh Hải province, Cái Nðá»Âc comprised the Phú Tân township and 32 communes: Bình Mỹ, Cái Nðá»Âc (district capital), ÃÂông Thá»Âi, Hiá»Âp Hðng, Hòa Mỹ, Hðng Mỹ, Lðáng Thế Trân, Nguyá» n, Phong Hðng, Phú Hiá»Âp, Phú Hòa, Phú Hðng, Phú Lá»Âc, Phú Mỹ, Phú Thành, Phú ThuáºÂn, Tân Hải, Tân Hiá»Âp, Tân Hðng ÃÂông, Tân Hðng Tây, Tân Hðng, Tân Nghiá»Âp, Tân Phong, Tân Thá»Âi, Thạnh Phú, Thạnh Hðng, Thạnh Trung, Trần Thá»Âi, Viá»Ât Cðá»Âng, Viá»Ât Dà ©ng, Viá»Ât Hùng, Viá»Ât Khái, Viá»Ât Thắng.
The district includes 10 commune-level subdivisions, including the township of Cái Nðá»Âc and the rural communes of Trần Thá»Âi, Tân Hðng, Tân Hðng ÃÂông, Hðng Mỹ, Phú Hðng, Lðáng Thế Trân, HoàMỹ, ÃÂông Thá»Âi, Thạnh Phú and ÃÂông Hðng.
