Brusturoasa is a commune in BacÃÂu County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Brusturoasa, BuruieniÃÂ, BuruieniÃÂu de Sus, Camenca, CuchiniÃÂ, and HângÃÂneÃÂti.
The commune is situated in the southern foothills of the TarcÃÂu Mountains. It lies at altitude of , on the banks of the river TrotuÃÂ and its left tributary, the ÃÂugura.
Brusturoasa is located in the northwestern part of BacÃÂu County, from the county seat, BacÃÂu, on the border with NeamÃÂ County. It is traversed by national road , which starts in OneÃÂti, to the southeast, continues over the GhimeÃÂ-Palanca Pass, and ends in Miercurea Ciuc. The Brusturoasa halt serves the CFR railway line 501, which runs parallel with the road and connects Adjud to Siculeni.
