Brebu is a commune in Prahova County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Brebu MânÃÂstirei (the commune centre), Brebu MegieÃÂesc, Pietriceaua, and Podu Cheii.
The commune is located in the northern part of the county. The river Purcaru flows through it.
