Bratronice is a municipality and village in Kladno District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants.
Bratronice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):
The name is derived from the personal name Bratroà Â, meaning "the village of Bratroà Â's people".
Bratronice is located about southwest of Kladno and west of Prague. It lies in the Kà Âivoklát Highlands. The highest point is the hill Kouty at above sea level. The LodÃÂnice River flows through the municipality. The southern part of the municipal territory lies in the Kà Âivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area.
The first written mention of Bratronice is from 1228, when it was owned by the St. George's Convent in Prague. The village was then alternately part of the estates of Kà Âivoklát and Okoà  and shared their owners.
There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality.
The main landmark of Bratronice is the Church of All Saints. It was built in the late Baroque style in 1780âÂÂ1783.
