The Bicaz () is a right tributary of the river BistriÃÂa in Romania. Its source is in the HÃÂÃÂmaàMountains. Its uppermost course, upstream from Red Lake (Lacul RoÃÂu), is also called VereÃÂchiu. Other tributaries of Lacul RoÃÂu are Pârâul Oii (Oaia), Licoàand Suhard. It discharges into the BistriÃÂa in the town Bicaz. The Romanian name derives from the Hungarian name, which means literally frog-rivulet (hun.: béka = frog). Its length is and its basin size is .
