Battle of Vijaya

The Battle of Vijaya () between ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»Ât and the kingdom of Champa was a siege of Vijaya, the Cham capital, in 1377. The Vietnamese forces were utterly defeated and the ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»Ât emperor, TrÃ¡ÂºÂ§n DuÃ¡Â»Â TÃÂ´ng, died as a result of the battle.

Aftermath

The death of TrÃ¡ÂºÂ§n DuÃ¡Â»Â TÃÂ´ng was a turning point for TrÃ¡ÂºÂ§n dynasty and ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»Ât. Po Binasuor revenged by advancing to the north, and successfully captured the ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ¡i ViÃ¡Â»Ât capital of ThÃÂng Long.
