Bartolomé Jiménez Patón (1569âÂÂ1640) was a Spanish humanist, rhetorician, grammarian, and writer. In 1614, he published a treatise of comparative orthography between Latin and Castilian Spanish, EpÃÂtome de la orthografÃÂa latina y castellana.
