Bảo Thắng district

BÃ¡ÂºÂ£o ThÃ¡ÂºÂ¯ng is a rural district (huyÃ¡Â»Ân) of LÃÂ o Cai province in the Northeast region of Vietnam.

As of 2020, the district had a population of 103,262. The district covers an area of 651.98 km<sup>2</sup>. The district capital lies at PhÃ¡Â»Â Lu.

History

The administrative unit of BÃ¡ÂºÂ£o ThÃ¡ÂºÂ¯ng was first established in 1059 by the LÃÂ½ dynasty.

BÃ¡ÂºÂ£o ThÃ¡ÂºÂ¯ng district is subdivided to 14 commune-level subdivisions, including the townships of PhÃ¡Â»Â Lu, NÃÂ´ng trÃÂ°Ã¡Â»Âng Phong HÃ¡ÂºÂ£i, TÃ¡ÂºÂ±ng LoÃ¡Â»Âng and the rural communes of: BÃ¡ÂºÂ£n CÃ¡ÂºÂ§m, BÃ¡ÂºÂ£n PhiÃ¡Â»Ât, Gia PhÃÂº, Phong NiÃÂªn, PhÃÂº NhuÃ¡ÂºÂn, SÃÂ¡n HÃÂ , SÃÂ¡n HÃ¡ÂºÂ£i, ThÃÂ¡i NiÃÂªn, TrÃÂ¬ Quang, XuÃÂ¢n Giao, XuÃÂ¢n Quang.
