Bảo Lá»Âc (old name in Ma language: BâÂÂLao) is a city of Lâm ÃÂá»Âng Province in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam. Bảo Lá»Âc is famous for its registered trademark: B'lao tea. As of 2018 the city had a population of 170,920. The city covers an area of 229 km<sup>2</sup>. The central wards of the city are I, II and B'lao, which was the Bảo Lá»Âc district capital town.
Its name is Bảo Lá»Âc from B'lao in K'ho language, what means [the land of] mu oil trees.
