Bantice () is a municipality and village in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.
Bantice is located about east of Znojmo and southwest of Brno. It lies in a flat agricultural landscape in the DyjeâÂÂSvratka Valley. The ÃÂnanovka Stream flows through the municipality.
The first written mention of Bantice is from 1046.
The I/53 road from Znojmo to Pohoà Âelice passes through the southern part of the municipality.
There are no protected cultural monuments in the municipality.
The main landmark of Bantice is the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. It was built in 1933, when it replaced a chapel from 1832.
