The BraniÃÂevo District (, ) is one of administrative districts of Serbia. According to the 2022 census, it has a population of 156,367 inhabitants. BraniÃÂevo District is named after the village of BraniÃÂevo. The administrative center of the district is Poà ¾arevac.
The present-day administrative districts (including BraniÃÂevo District) were established in 1992 by the decree of the Government of Serbia.
The BraniÃÂevo District encompasses the territories of one city and seven municipalities:
There is just one town with over 10,000 inhabitants: Poà ¾arevac, with 42,530 inhabitants.
