Badula is a small genus of 14âÂÂ17 species of tropical shrubs, placed formerly in the plant family Myrsinaceae (now subsumed in Primulaceae as subfamily Myrsinoideae). The genus is largely endemic to Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands.
