Atherinosoma

Atherinosoma is a genus of silversides from the coastal waters of south-eastern Australia.

Species

The currently recognized species in this genus are:

• Atherinosoma elongata <small>(Klunzinger, 1879)</small> (elongated hardyhead)
• Atherinosoma microstoma <small>(Günther, 1861)</small> (small-mouth hardyhead)
