ÃÂieu-MÃÂgheruà() is a commune in BistriÃÂa-NÃÂsÃÂud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Arcalia (ÃÂrokalja), Chintelnic (Kentelke), CrainimÃÂt (Királynémeti), Podirei (Pogyerej), SÃÂrÃÂÃÂel (Szeretfalva), ÃÂieu-MÃÂgheruÃÂ, and Valea MÃÂgheruÃÂului (Sajómagyarósi völgy).
The commune lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the banks of the river ÃÂieu. It is located in the central-south part of the county, at a distance of from the town of Beclean and from the county seat, BistriÃÂa.
ÃÂieu-MÃÂgheruÃÂ is crossed by two national roads: (part of European route E58), which joins Dej in Cluj County to Suceava, and (part of European route E578), which joins Reghin in MureÃÂ County to BistriÃÂa; the two roads meet in the village of SÃÂrÃÂÃÂel.
There is also a train station in SÃÂrÃÂÃÂel, which serves the CFR Line 406, that runs from BistriÃÂa BârgÃÂului to to here, and on to the town of LuduÃÂ, in MureàCounty (the last segment is operated by Regio CÃÂlÃÂtori).
