Arabinosyl nucleoside

Arabinosyl nucleosides are derivatives of the nucleosides. They contain β-<small>D</small>-arabinofuranose, in contrast to most nucleosides which contain β-<small>D</small>-ribofuranose. They are used as cytostatics or virostatics.
