Throughout Andrzej DudaâÂÂs presidency, numerous research institutions and polling agencies have conducted opinion surveys to gauge public approval of his performance as President of Poland. Duda, a candidate of the conservative Law and Justice party (PiS), first won the presidency on May 24, 2015, defeating incumbent Bronisà Âaw Komorowski in a closely contested election. He secured re-election on July 12, 2020, after a polarising campaign against opposition candidate Rafaà  Trzaskowski.
Duda's approval rating fluctuated throughout his presidency, reflecting his public image and a changing political climate.
