Aphrosylus

Aphrosylus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. All species are intertidal in habitat.

Species

Aphrosylus griseatus <small>Curran, 1926</small> is a synonym of Cemocarus griseatus <small>(Curran, 1926)</small>, the type species of Cemocarus.

The following species were moved to Paraphrosylus:

  • Aphrosylus direptor <small>Wheeler, 1897</small>
  • Aphrosylus grassator <small>Wheeler, 1897</small>
  • Aphrosylus nigripennis <small>Van Duzee, 1924</small>
  • Aphrosylus praedator <small>Wheeler, 1897</small>
  • Aphrosylus wirthi <small>Harmston, 1951</small>

The following species were moved to Cymatopus:

  • Aphrosylus setosus <small>Curran, 1932</small>
