Andrew Kittredge Lewis (August 5, 1925 â February 28, 2018) was an American screenwriter. He frequently worked in partnership with his older brother David Edson Lewis (1915-1981), though he also wrote independently, or with other collaborators. The Lewis brothers were nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Original Screenplay for the film Klute.
Much of Lewis' career was as a television writer in Hollywood.
Andy Lewis died in February 2018 of natural causes at his home in Walpole, New Hampshire, at the age of 92.
