Ami Ishii (ç³亠äºÂæµ·, Ishii Ami; born 11 December 2002) is a Japanese freestyle wrestler. She won the gold medal in the women's 72kg event at the 2024 World Wrestling Championships.
In 2022, she won the silver medal in the women's 68kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. She won the gold medal in her event at the 2023 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Ishii lost her bronze medal match in the women's 68kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. She won a separate match against Emma Bruntil of the United States and she earned a quota place for Japan for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
