Fotbal Club Altay ConstanÃÂa was a Romanian football club based in ConstanÃÂa, ConstanÃÂa County, founded in 1945 and dissolved in 2006. The club last played in the 2005âÂÂ06 Divizia B season.
The club was founded in 1945 as SCEC (Societatea de Electricitate ConstanÃÂa â ConstanÃÂa Electricity Company) and played in the Regional Championship until the end of the 1962âÂÂ63 season, when finished as runners-up in Dobrogea Regional Series and promoted to Divizia C. The squad including players such as CataramÃÂ, V. Olteanu, RÃÂdulescu, Giovani, Munteanu, Antonescu, Datcu, DoroÃÂ, Mihai, Suliman, Dumitru.
Followed eighteen seasons in the third division in which was a mid-table team and finished twice as runners-up (1973âÂÂ74 and 1974âÂÂ75). Nonetheless, the electricians was relegated at the end of the 1980âÂÂ81 season, finished 15th out of 16 in Series IV.
Electrica promoted in Divizia B finishing 2nd in the Series III of the 2002âÂÂ03 Divizia C season.
