Allison Wright (archer)

Allison Wright (née Kelly) was a British archer, who competed in Field and 3D archery. She began practicing archery at age 50 and won multiple National Field Archery Society (NFAS), national titles in the American Flatbow (AFB) and Barebow categories.

Career

At the 2019 World Archery 3D Championships in Lac La Biche, Canada, Wright represented Great Britain and finished 10th in the Women's Instinctive Bow category.

Personal

Wright was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2020. She competed during her treatment and won the NFAS National Championship in 2021. She died on February 10, 2024, at 58 years old.
